Since 1995 was implemented a desert bighorn sheep reproduction program in El Carmen Island with the purpose to increase the existing populations of the subspecies weemsi in the state of Baja California Sur. This program has had a great successes and now you can enjoy one of the most exciting hunts to obtain one of the most coveted trophies worldwide, the desert bighorn sheep.
